- Wing of Madness
Depression Community - "One of the oldest depression websites on the
web. This website is about clinical depression. It addresses not the "down"
mood which we all get from time to time and which leads us to say, "I'm
depressed," but the often debilitating illness which affects one in five
people, children as well as adults."
- Online
Depression Screening Test - "ODST is a preliminary screening test for
depressive symptoms that does not replace in any way a formal psychiatric
evaluation. It is designed to give a preliminary idea about the presence of
mild to moderate depressive symptoms that indicate the need for an
evaluation by a psychiatrist."
- Andrew's
Depression Page - "There is always hope. Depression blinds us to that
fact. If we can somehow hold on to our hope, just maybe we can find a way to
get through."

- Depression
and Bipolar Disorder in Adolescents - "Well meaning parents or teachers
may think that a young person is unhappy or moody because it's a natural
part of being young. This is especially true for adolescents, who are
expected to be "hormonal" and rebellious. Persistent unhappiness or
moodiness is not normal for anyone."

- Child Abuse and Multiple
Personality - Abstract -- The syndrome of multiple personality is
associated with a high incidence of physical and/or sexual abuse in
childhood. Occasionally those with multiple personality abuse their own
children. Multiple personality is difficult to diagnose both because of the
nature of the syndrome and because of professional reluctance. Although
multiple personality is most difficult to diagnose during childhood because
of the subtlety of the syndrome. The much higher morbidity found in adult
cases makes it imperative that it be diagnosed and treated early in order to
avoid further abuse and greater morbidity and to shorten treatment time.
This review describes the history, clinical features and treatment of
multiple personality, particularly in children, in addition to exploring the
professional reluctance to make the diagnosis.

- The Dance of
Healing - "This site is an information and community rescourse to
multiples survivors and significant others. Information is a powerful tool.
For multiples (whether survivor or naturally ocurring) and partners, good
information and diverse viewpoint are a neccesity. Although the Dance of
Healing contains many survivor oriented articles, we seek to be more than
just a survivor based community. We seek to educate, heal, teach, and become
a community."

"This page is a rather eclectic mishmash of our lives and our interests, so
snoop around, you never know what you'll find! This is not your traditional
DID/ MPD page, because there are enough of those out there, and because
there is a lot more to us than that label. You'll find links to pages
created by various selves, pages devoted to interests that we have,
and of course a page by our daughter, who has shown us what families are all
about. There is some abuse-related stuff, because we are still
healing, but we are also transcending and looking beyond..."
