This licensing board investigated me using a licensed Staff pyschologist.  I do not remember the investigators name or the exact date of contact.  I believe it was in or about April, 2000.  However, I had moved to Wilmington, NC a week or two before and had made another trip back to PA to pick up the rest of my belongings when I found a business card of the investigator on the front door.  He had come to the house in PA, obviously while no one was home, and left his card on the door, the day I arrived back there.  I called his office and got an answering machine.  I left a message for him to call me as soon as possible as I had moved and would be living in NC.  He called me about 1 hour later.  He did not hesitate to inform me that the people he had talked to was Pat Stubbs, Ruth Parris, and Stephanie Bryant.

We spoke on the phone for about 15-30 minutes.  I answered all his questions and provided him with a web address to the #Shelterhouse web site.  I asked him to go there, read the disclaimer that had always been on it, and welcomed him to visit our groups room any time he wanted to, either known or anonymously.  I explained that the complaints were the result of a Internet based conflict involving two woman that the group discovered had been using our room as a way to get funds sent to them under misleading and deceptive circumstances.  I told him that the woman's activities  had been discovered by the group members, and that the decision to ban them was that of the group members.  However, as the groups founder, I was required to confront them, and put the ban in place so they could no longer enter our room.  I also provided him with several group members phone numbers and/or email addresses so that he could verify what I was saying with others who were aware of the situation.

I asked if he wanted my new phone number or address in Wilmington, NC and was told no, that he was going to reccomend to the Pennsylvania Board of Pyschology to drop the complaint as unfounded.  We hung up and I never heard from him again.
